Construction: Brass body, 100k ohm resistors across contacts, explosion proof J-box
The interstitial space is typically set to a 25” Hg. Vacuum. When the vacuum is reduced due to a leak the vacuum switch contact will close. The switch must be connected in series with a load.
Normal is uninstalled.
Normally Open (N.O.): Contact is open without a vacuum, contact closes with a 10 Hg. vacuum.
Normally Closed (N.C.): Contact is closed without a vacuum, contact opens with a 10 Hg. vacuum. 100k ohms resistance when contact is open, 0 ohms when closed.
DO NOT CONNECT THE SWITCH DIRECTLY ACROSS THE POWER SUPPLY.
The voltage / current product must not exceed the power rating.
